Plan Your Visit
Plan to spend some time on our farm. Walk leisurely through the trees, gazing at the incredible view of Tennessee’s mountains from our hillside. Rock on the front porch as you take in the beauty of God’s creation. Bring a picnic lunch along with a blanket or camp chair so you can enjoy the pretty day. Browse our gift shop and see the many gifts, goodies, and seasonal items you can purchase for yourself and all the loved ones on your list. Visit our craft room to work with your hands and expand your creativity, and take a hayride to see even more of the beauty around us. You can do all of that during our event days. And in addition, during the Christmas season, you can pick out your very own live Christmas tree to take home and decorate as you prepare to celebrate Jesus’ birthday with your family.
Our online store is open year-round with seasonal gifts and goodies, but starting October 1st each year, we offer pre-purchase of live Christmas trees. Click here for more info.
Activities on the farm
Treehouse Playscape
Our treehouse play area is a marvel, filled with swings, slides, bridges, ramps, ziplines, and more! Built primarily out of wood with brightly colored plastics anywhere you wouldn’t want to get a splinter. We highly recommend close-toed shoes, as open-toed can be a tripping hazard when playing.
*Closed if raining, muddy, wet, windy, or snowing.
REGULAR HOURS: Open until dark on scheduled open days.
COST: $8 Per person during events and classes on the farm, FREE with a Christmas tree purchase during the Christmas Season, and $10/per person if not purchasing a tree.
*At least one parent or guardian must accompany children to the treehouse and supervise their play.
Hayrides
Take a classic hayride on haybales on our haywagon, pulled by our good ole’ tractor. Our driver will take you for a ride to see even more of the farm, and potentially some deer!
*Not available if raining, muddy, wet, windy, or snowing.
HOURS: Hayrides will run until dark on Saturdays/Sundays during our Christmas Season. See the events page to see if we are offering hayrides during specific events.
COST: $3 per person/Max $15 per family (immediate family only)
craft room
Our craft room is a multipurpose area that we use to host events and classes, as well as where you can paint wooden ornaments for your tree during the Christmas season. No matter the season, this room promises to be a fun hands-on experience for all ages! Bring your family and friends and make new memories together as a group.
HOURS: Open the same hours as the farm during the Christmas Season, and open for classes and events during set times. See the events page for information on when we are open for classes and events.
COST: Classes have individual prices according to what you’ll be making.
Wooden ornaments range from $1 -$6 when you’re here during the Christmas season.
Gift Shop
All items in our Gift Shop are hand-made & hand-crafted by local artisans, crafters, and bakers. You can find a variety of jewelry, apparel, decor, and seasonal items that make excellent gifts for friends, family, or yourself!
We even have a selection of goodies for dogs, in case they need a treat too 😉
You can purchase homebaked bread/sourdough, cookies, elderberry jellies, and more from our snack section, that go great with our southern-style sweet tea, or classic hot chocolate.
HOURS: Open during scheduled events, classes, and regular Christmas hours.
Wildwood Cafe
Check out our new Cafe, complete with an in-store menu that shows all we have to offer. Restocked weekly on Saturdays, you can enjoy fresh donuts, sourdough breads, cookies, and more! All goodies go great paired with a southern-style sweet tea, classic hot chocolate, spiced cider, or lemonade.
Try our new specialty hot chocolate – 15 oz. of smooth hot chocolate, topped with marshmallows, whipped topping, chocolate chips, and a peppermint stick, all in our green Wildwood mug which you get to take home with you!
HOURS: Restocked weekly on Saturdays and before events, open during events, classes, and all regular hours during the Christmas season.
to ensure an enjoyable visit:
Wear closed-toed shoes
Please wear boots or tennis shoes/sneakers when visiting us. Open-toed shoes can be dangerous on a farm.
No Dogs or other Pets
Please leave your pet at home unless he or she is a trained service dog or other assistance animal.
We’ll provide the gear
Please don’t bring your own saw or chainsaw. We’ll provide everything you need to cut your tree during the season!
We’ll Help You Load
We will shake, net, and help you tie the tree to your vehicle before you go. Feel free to bring your own tie-downs!
