Class – Crochet beanie

Join us for class, and create your very own crochet beanie!

We will provide everything you need, plus written instructions, and assistance every step of the way! This class project is a great one for beginners, with basic stitches and steps that are easy to learn, whether you’ve crocheted before or not.

You get to choose the basic yarn color you would like to work with when you purchase your ticket(s). And we will do our best to make sure there is a beautiful yarn there for you to choose when you arrive. Each yarn will be a skein of Bernat Blanket, which is a soft and chunky yarn that makes any beanie effortless!

This class lasts for around 2 hours, and you’ll be taking home all of the materials and knowledge of how to complete your beanie (if it’s not already). The exact time needed to complete your beanie will vary, based on how big you’re making it and your experience level. But don’t panic! We’re also offering additional time after the class is over, so if you need more time and you’re not sure what to do next, we will be there to help!

Friday, February 14th (Valentine’s Day)

We are offering you a stress-free date night by the fire!
Register for your time slot and choose any add-ons, and then all you have to do is arrive dressed for the weather and bring some chairs/pillows/blankets.

We understand the value of a date that you don’t have to plan out or prepare for, so we will set it all up, and provide food, drink, and other options if you choose them!

We can also provide childcare for children ages 5 and up, but only during the 6-7:30 time slot. You can feed your kiddos dinner beforehand, or bring a lunchbox meal for them to enjoy during a movie. We will also be providing a donut, juice box, and bag of popcorn to make the movie night an interactive experience. Our movie choices will be Lilo and Stitch or something similar. Please bring along a chair/pillow/blanket for each child you register.

Before your date, you can arrive early to shop at the gift shop, play at the treehouse play area, get some snacks, and get your kids checked in and settled before their movie.

Class – Crochet duck with flower hat

Got the cold weather blues?  Are you looking for a new hobby?  These evenings are a perfect time to work on something for yourself or someone you love.  Join us for class and learn a new skill that will give you hours of enjoyment and great satisfaction as you make your own hats, scarves, dishcloths, animals, etc.  

In this class, we will teach you how to crochet Amigurumi.  We will be making a super cute duck!  This class is great for beginner crochet-ers, whether you’ve played around with some crochet stitches or never picked up a crochet hook in your life.  We will teach you some basic crochet knowledge – enough to finish this duck, at least!  

Included in this class:

• 1 written crochet duck pattern 
• Bernat Blanket yarn
• 1 crochet hook 
• 1 tapestry needle
• Safety eyes
• 4 hours of guided assistance and help

This class lasts for around two hours on 2 different days. You’ll be taking home all of the materials, plus the knowledge of how to complete and finish your duck (if it’s not already). The exact time needed to complete your duck will vary, based on your experience level.

Class – making doggie deodorant and nose & paw balm

Join us and make amazing products to pamper your pup!

We will make a Dog Deodorant Spray to keep your furry friend smelling fresh and a Nose & Paw Balm to soothe dry, winter noses, and rough paws.

The class will take approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hours, and you’ll be taking home one Deodorant Spray and one jar of Nose & Paw Balm to create a “pampered pup experience” for your dog at home. Create these for you and your dog or as a gift for a favorite pup you know. Invite family and friends to join you for the fun and make it a group experience for everyone to enjoy!

Optional:  If you’d like to make a repurposed dog toy, bring an old t-shirt with you and we’ll walk you through the simple steps to make it.

Class – crafting paper flowers

Paper Flower Power!
Join us in making a few paper flowers and take home a small hand-made bouquet that can be lasting home decor or a gift, plus the knowledge of how to make more! With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this could make a wonderful hand-crafted gift for mom!

Come and learn to make beautiful flowers cut from cardstock paper. These flower patterns can be cut with a Cricut, another cutting machine, or all by hand! All materials will be provided for this class, so you won’t need to bring anything.
You’ll take home a small vase of beautiful flowers you’ve made yourself.

This class will take a couple of hours, and because we will be doing detailed work please remember to bring your glasses if you need them!

Class – Making All-Natural Pain Relief Patches & Bath Salts

Let’s make some natural products! Are you ready to get more help in fighting pain that’s not another medication and won’t have annoying or damaging side effects? Why not try to make your own natural pain relievers?

Join us and make amazing products to help with inflammation and muscle & joint pain!

We will make Willow Bark Bath Salts that ease muscle tension and joint pain.  A warm bath with these bath salts will help relieve pain, support detoxification and encourage relaxation.   

We will also make Pain Relief Patches with Cayenne Powder and Turmeric.  Pain patches can be applied directly to the skin and are known to relieve muscle soreness and help alleviate joint pain.  

The class will take approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hours, and you’ll be taking home one jar of Bath Salts and one jar of Pain Relief Patches.
