Frequently asked questions
Do I need to pre-purchase a tree before visiting?
Only if it's more convenient for you! We would recommend pre-purchasing if you are worried your holiday plans may make it hard to get here early enough to have a lot to choose from. Otherwise, you can visit the farm, pick out your tree and take it home same-day as long as it's a pre-cut or choose & cut tree. If you're thinking you want a ball & burlap tree, it will need to be purchased, and then picked up at a later date. But you can purchase online, or make 2 trips to the farm. One to pick it out, and one to pick it up.
Is the farm closed if its raining?
Nope, we're still here as long as you're willing to brave the weather! The only parts of the farm that the weather effects is our treehouse playscape and hayrides. Both of which will be unavailable if it is raining, muddy, or happens to be snowing.
Can I bring my dog?
We do not allow pets. Only fully-trained service animals with certifications. This is because we have our own farm animals and pets, and can never guarantee how animals who don't know each other will react. If you arrive with your pet, we will ask that you leave them in the car for the duration of your visit.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable, and be prepared for incoming or recent weather. We recommend close-toed shoes like boots or tennis shoes, as the farm can be rather rugged terrain.
Can I bring my own saw?
No. We provide a hand saw if you choose to cut down your own tree, and we are available to help if you need it. Due to safely and insurance reasons we cannot allow electric or gas-powered saws on the farm.
How do I transport my tree?
A vehicle with space in the back or on top is the only requirement. Feel free to bring your own straps or tie-downs if you prefer those to the twine that we provide. Our guys will shake and net your tree, and then help you get it secure on top of or inside your vehicle.
To pick up a B&B we recommend a pickup truck, as these trees weigh anywhere from 150-250 lbs. We will get it loaded for you, but you will need help when you get it home.
Can I pay with my card at the farm?
We take all forms of payment, except IOU : )
Cash, debit, credit, and check are all accepted, although we can't take more than one form of payment per purchase.
Can I enjoy the farm and amenities if I'm not getting a tree?
While we would love for anyone to be able to come and enjoy the farm and experiences, we are growing at a rate that means we can only provide parking for so many. And the low-priced/free amenities we offer are for our tree-purchasing families, as a way to say thank you for supporting our farm. The experiences and more that we offer come with an additional cost if you are not purchasing a tree.
TreeHouse PlayScape
Our treehouse play area is a marvel, filled with swings, slides, bridges, ramps, ziplines, and more! Built primarily out of wood with brightly colored plastics anywhere you wouldn’t want to get a splinter. We highly recommend close-toed shoes, as open-toed can be a tripping hazard when playing.
