This is a Choose & Cut Fraser Fir.

Did you know? Fraser Fir do not grow in this area of the country. In order for us to have these trees available to you, we've had to graft them. We graft a Fraser Fir leader to a Momi fir tree in a pot and then the following year (if the graft "takes") we plant this tree in the field. It actually takes 2 trees and extra time and labor to make these trees grow. Wildwood is the only farm in the area that sells Fraser Fir for choose & cut.

This particular tree is tall and slender and a bit scraggly at the bottom. It's been tended to here at Wildwood for almost 10 years!

One image shows you the “good side” of the tree, and the other shows you the “not so good” side of the tree. (Most people place their tree in a corner or against a wall, so we suggest turning your least favorite side towards the wall!)

Each and every tree grown here at Wildwood is free from Pesticides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Herbicides, and Colorants!

We make this happen by hand-picking any pest that dares to show up in our trees, and maintaining the fields constantly.
